【GODDESS OF VICTORY: NIKKE Rapi: Red Hood (Cherished Red)】Growing and showing a new side, Rapi: Red Hood's special skin Cherished Red is made into a 3D figure! Distance narrowed just a little bit, Rapi's charm is too cute...!

Hearing Rapi from “Goddess of Victory: NIKKE”, many people would imagine a reliable figure calmly judging situations and supporting the Commander. Such a girl became a 1/7 scale figure as “Rapi: Red Hood”, and moreover wearing the pajama costume “Cherished Red”. Slightly different from the usual dignified atmosphere, facial expressions looking a little embarrassed about her own appearance are quite impressive. One seems likely to spontaneously gaze thinking “Rapi makes such a face too”. Rather than pushing coolness during battle to the front, making a soft side shown as a single girl into a 3D figure is a highlight unique to this figure.

What wants to draw attention in this 3D modeling is the place not simply reproducing costumes alone. Not to mention characteristic facial expressions, material feelings unique to pajamas are built up to details. If costumes change, character impressions change greatly, but “Cherished Red” is a special outfit drawing out Rapi's charms different from usual. By gestures and facial expressions looking a little bewildered adding there, it lets you imagine even situations as if spending time with only the two of you with her. Precisely because it is a figure carefully cutting out Rapi's emotions rather than directions reproducing flashy battle scenes, it is a single figure making you want to search for new facial expressions depending on viewing angles or distances.

In the first place, Rapi is a Nikke belonging to Counters, being a capable person hiding top-class combat capability even in Elysion. Standing between prudent Anis and positive Neon during operations, making proposals suitable for situations while picking up both opinions, she is also an important existence bringing the team together. Such a cool girl, but in Rapi: Red Hood perhaps partly because obtaining confidence, comes to show more active sides in both work and private life than before. Becoming positive toward cooperation with others or division of roles, changes appear in interpersonal relationships themselves as well. Looking at the figure knowing this background, shy facial expressions are not mere cute productions, but felt as something symbolizing changes of Rapi herself, which is an interesting place.

What changed particularly greatly would be Rapi's behavior toward the Commander. While possessing basic stances treating with honorifics, in Rapi: Red Hood trying to hold hands by herself or enjoying time spent alone together, she comes to express girl-like emotions more honestly than before. Looking at the figure “Cherished Red” anew there, I see, one is convinced that there are meanings in this costume and facial expression. Rapi who is usually on the side supporting the Commander shows a somehow defenseless figure here. Enjoying that gap at hand as a 3D object is a major charm for fans, isn't it?

The figure is 1/7 scale, total height is about 261mm. Becoming a pre-painted complete product, dedicated pedestals are attached in addition to the main unit. Plastic is used for materials, Dog Knight handling prototype production and TORAMI handling coloring. In sizes of about 26cm, details of facial expressions or costumes are easy to appreciate firmly, and sufficient presence seems likely to be enjoyed when displayed. Not to mention people collecting figures of “Goddess of Victory: NIKKE”, it is a finish concerning even for people who want to display “Rapi close to real face” rather than “fighting Rapi”.

Demonstrating high capabilities on battlefields, bringing comrades together, and supporting the Commander accurately. With that alone, Rapi might end with impressions like “reliable existence”. However, “Rapi: Red Hood Cherished Red” this time shapes up to girl-likeness in the depth as a figure. Shy facial expressions, delicate sculptings of pajamas, and atmospheres established precisely because she whose distance with the Commander became closer than before. Gazing while thinking “If placing such Rapi in front of eyes, can I refuse requests?”, might be a way of enjoying unique to this figure.
