Yumia Liessfeldt: Playing in the Water Ver.】Dazzling and captivating summer outfit!
Even the water surface on the base is high quality!
Yumia Liessfeldt: Playing in the Water Ver. from Atelier Yumia
is now a 1/6 scale figure!

From ”Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories & the Envisioned Land,” Yumia Liessfeldt: Playing in the Water Ver., based on a special bonus illustration drawn by Benitama, has arrived as a 1/6 scale pre-painted finished figure. Despite its easy-to-display size of approximately 250mm in height, the density of the sculpting and coloring is extremely high, resulting in a finish that captures the atmosphere of the illustration perfectly. A major attraction of this piece is that it doesn’t just turn the character into a 3D model, but places great emphasis on reconstructing the ”specially drawn illustration” into three dimensions.
Clad in a white bikini and frolicking innocently by the riverside. The posing, which captures that exact moment, first catches the eye. The swimsuit, rendered with pearl paint, emits a soft glow whenever it catches the light, creating a texture reminiscent of summer sunshine. The dynamic composition of her leaning forward and scooping up a ”Puni” gives a sense of motion despite being a static figure. The way the center of gravity is handled and the balance at her feet are natural, and the body lines, which emphasize a healthy suppleness, are also meticulously sculpted.
The translucent black hair has a deep finish thanks to coloring that utilizes clear parts. The flow and spread of the hair tips are delicately crafted, as if the wind blowing across the riverside has taken shape. Her slightly mischievous smile as she gazes this way is somewhat defenseless and warms the viewer’s heart. The nuances of her expression are very delicate and the impression changes depending on the angle, so there is also the fun of experimenting with where to display it. The work of Tori, who handled the coloring, and Sakura (Fuku Fuku), who produced the decals, extends to every detail.
The dedicated base is sculpted with the image of a riverside, and the contrast between the gentle flow of water and the splashing droplets is impressive. It is painted to take advantage of a transparency that allows you to see all the way to the bottom, enhancing its perfection not just as a stand, but as part of the scene. By integrating the Yumia figure with the base, a sense of narrative is born, and just by displaying it, a small summer landscape spreads out before you. A major strength of this work is that the world-view is fully conveyed even without adding a background.
This figure is a sculptural work that values the ”moment” as much as the character’s charm. The splashes of water, the hair fluttering in the wind, and the sparkling smile. All of these overlap to encapsulate a fresh point in time. It balances an easy-to-handle 1/6 scale size with a high level of perfection finished carefully to the smallest detail, making it a highly satisfying piece for any collection. Why not enjoy a shimmering summer moment at your fingertips together with Yumia?
