It is the second entry in Good Smile Company's “COVERS” project—a collaboration of “Character x Illustrator x Figure”—and was created based on a specially drawn visual by illustrator toridamono, making it a truly special-edition piece. The challenge of translating the soft textures and atmosphere unique to the illustration into 3D while respecting the charm of the original character designs is, quite frankly, an incredibly luxurious endeavor.

The scale is 1/7, with a total height of approximately 220mm. Looking only at the numbers, it might seem modest, but when you see it in person, the excellence of its balance is surprising. The beauty of the composition created by the two standing together, the meticulous detailing of the clothing folds and hair flow, and the delicate color expressions by Kenji Ando, who was in charge of coloring, give the entire work a sense of unity. As a pre-painted complete figure, one of its charms is that a fully realized worldview unfolds the moment you take it out of the box. Although the material is plastic, the ingenuity in texture expression ensures it doesn't feel light or cheap.
