Fully Representing the Northern Land of Japan, Hokkaido! What Kind of Character is Snow Miku?

Snow Miku is one of the officially recognized variations of “Hatsune Miku.”
Snow Miku is the main character of the “SNOW MIKU” festival held in Hokkaido. She was created during the “Sapporo Snow Festival” in Hokkaido in 2010, when Crypton Future Media, the company that released Hatsune Miku, exhibited a snow statue of a pure white Hatsune Miku to liven up the local area.

Since then, each year at the “Sapporo Snow Festival,” various versions of Snow Miku with different outfits have been released, playing the leading role in the festival. The theme for the year 2023 is “Sky Patterns,” featuring fluffy patterns of clouds and snow, reminiscent of the dawn in Hokkaido. The design, with a hidden moon and a rising sun at dawn, includes both the moon and the sun.

By the way, the small rabbit beside her is named “Rabbit Yukine.” It first appeared alongside the 2014 version of Magical Miku as a familiar (pet). Since then, it has become a regular companion of Snow Miku.
